The other reason it’s quiet in the P38 area is they’re so reliable….😂

Mines still going strong after 16 years. Needs a temp sensor-a bit fiddly to change-so using phone and torque lite and an air conditioning drier-the old one rusted out. Will get these done when it warms up a bit! Changed lots of wheelnuts last week as well as the originals were swelling up.

This is probably the reason 2000 P38 4.0 HSE auto - RHD - just needs a little love.

Excellent, I’m glad someone is tuned in. I’ve just had couple of quotes to do the underside of mine, wire brush / clean / rust treatment and then Dinitrol. Looking like £750 plus the contribution to govt fraud. A couple of places in Cheltenham seem pretty good, PCM being one of them.

That's what I've also been doing to mine. Brake calipers and backing plates were very crusty so I've started to rub them down and used Vactan rust killer followed by "red lead" Screwfix primer (very good) and black chassis paint. I've done one side and any other surface rust on that side. Other side still to do.
