Apologies - the volume control on the radio does indeed work but turning up to max is still quite low. Range Rover 4.2 SC

In my car (2012), while the ignition is on but not the engine, the Aux audio only goes so high. However, when you start the engine it goes much louder. I've got a cheap bluetooth to AUX adapter plugged in and it works fine, once you start the engine. |

I’ve got my CarPlay unit permanently cabled to the rear Aux socket and the volume range is perfectly acceptable .

If you find that you need extra volume, it would be easy to conceal one of these amps to boost the level.
