Yup, those are the bolts.

Today's job is to get the pin out and then the new pads in so that I can drive it again. I'll order 4 new bolts them next week I can get the calipers off, paint them and replace the disks too.

This weekend I'll stick with rust treatment and under body protection I think.

All sorted. I ended up using a long 6mm drill through one hole to drill out the other. A right pain.

My next problem is that I've not got any windscreen washer jets. I did have them but after changing the battery, I don't. Could this be the cause and if so, where does it go?

Mine comes down the RH hinge, as you stand at the front, and disappears behind the battery into a harness. Without taking the battery out it’s hard to give you any specifics - in the second photo it’s the thinner black wire coming from the bottom of the screen

To close this out, I started with the obvious and simply topped up the washer bottle. Voila! Washer jets now working.

On to the next problem 😁

I think it maybe a good idea if you leave work on your Range Rover to a garage, it will probably be cheaper in the long run....!! Pete

Most things are doable but I also know when I'm in too deep. We were almost there this time but managed to recover just fine.

I didn't think essential car maintenance to a safety system on a 2 ton projectile was supposed to be fun..!

If you can't diagnose no water in the washer bottle then what chance is there that the brakes will be changed successfully...  Pete
