This is me just thinking out loud as I had trouble with the sensors on an old BMW of mine. I had one faulty sensor which turned the whole system off. To determine the faulty sensor I manually turned them on via the button inside and, putting your ear close to each sensor outside, you could hear a faint clicking sound from the working ones. No feedback at all from the faulty one. Swapped this out and the system came to life.

In a word, yes - one faulty sensor will cause both front and rear sensors to be disabled, a DTC should be logged and should identify the faulty sensor, wiring issue etc. When a fault is detected you get a 3 second low tone and the PDC switch led flashes 6 times and then the contact dealer message is displayed. Have you checked with the GAP IID that you can communicate with the PDC ecu etc? Are you checking for just permanent codes only on the GAP tool, if so, try pending codes etc L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division. |

maybe a coincidence, but 255 seems like an error (it's 8 x 1's in a 1 Byte register) Wondering if it's the module?

I suppose the check would be walk around the car whilst monitoring the values and see if they change.

Do you get the error tone and message not available visit dealer or does all seem normal? L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division. |
