Reading this thread - the faults Martyn had detailed are almost exactly what I’ve got! Looks like Mikey is right about the earth connection. By any chance Martyn did your tailgate fail to open during all this? |

Hi again Martyn, can you remember if it was just the front part of the underwing you had to remove (5/6 screws)? Thanks |

Thanks a lot for this thread. It led me straight to the fix. I went for an easy solution by using the bracket above as the new ground point. I can confirm that only the front half of the underwing is neccessary to remove.

Checked mine today and they were all good but those black plastic clips were hard to release, so ordered some new ones,also the bottom two metal clips have rusted so need two of those. cleaned every where and put back for now.

I'd just like to thank the original poster for the excellent information. It would have taken me DAYS to figure out what was wrong, and in this case, 30min.
