Pressing the button will activate the front sensors. I'd like to get accustomed to doing this while getting into tight spaces, but never think of it in time. |

I do press the button but it would be nice if it was always active. |

You possibly could do that by wiring in a momentary relay to the 'sensor on' switch which is fed from the ignition or maybe even better, the wire that tells the car to start.

Do they stay on after reversing when they normally switch off once a particular speed is attained? |

They do stay on after reversing but I don't know what the parameters are for them switching off. |

This morning's test revealed that they switch off after a particular speed and also if the gearbox is put into park. Hence auto switching on when starting the engine would be futile. |
