Maybe a silly question, but are you on level ground? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

Yes, concrete garage floor, car up on four of the black plastic ramps, seems to be on the horizontal |

Put another litre in and if it still doesn't show on the display drain it all and fill with 9.5 L and look at getting the level sensor replaced. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Thanks Jaygee : I only have a half litre left but I thought I might throw that in and see what happens : worst case scenario I’ll pump it back out and order a sensor.

10L won't do any harm. I've had 10L out when I drained it from cold ( took a long time mind) . It's not crucial to get the turbo drain plug undone. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I am not sure 10 litres is wise.

Not sure how accurate the guage is so maybe best to put in the recommened amount and ignore any over fill on the readout 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
