Just got back from 3 days green laning in Wales, including the famous bomb hole on Strata Florida. Car didn’t miss a beat and took everything in her stride.

Bit miffed at the nutter flying out of Tesco's car park in Cheltenham last night, had to swerve to avoid her and nicked the wheel riding the curb, 1st blood on the brand new set fitted last month.

More of a few days worth but finally changed the gearbox oil and filter after the front right airbag gave way on the first attempt, changed front left air bag / strut, new discs and pads around think that’s all the preventative maintenance done……until I think of something else 1972 Series 3 full of character

Made the most of the weather to paint my new brake callipers. Went for standard gloss black (after much debating whether to go classic red). Going to give them a couple of weeks to fully dry and then do a full brake upgrade as inspired by Gremlin.

Took the old girl to the Cosford airshow yesterday, eating lunch & Pimms, sat on the tailgate watching the air displays, just what she was made for.
