I guess the Aliexpress link is specific to individuals as it works for me fine. Unfortunately their share options are limited to platforms I don't use I will look deeper but I think I just did a search for car seat cooler and the items were amongst the usual irrelevant junk the Aliexpress always spams you with. 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner

OK, try searching for TZ032461 or for car seat refrigeration peltier in Aliexpress. If you select one you will find it then provides links to even more. The best I found for delivered price was £25 and pence although I think VAT needs to be added at final checkout. 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner

Thanks for that. The guy who was repairing mine can't get the parts now so it's fallen through.

I'll get one of these and give it a go then,

Hi Tinfish,
Did you ever sort your problem with heated and cooled drivers seat ?
I've got a newly acquired 2011 Vogue SE with same problem.
I would appreciate any advise..

Hi, Peltier part just arraived, but the rest of the unit is still with the other "fixer", soon as I get that back I'll replace the peltier and hopefully all good.

Problem fixed for now though, swapped in the passengers unit, SWMBO noticed, embarressed to have been caught out, damn. Whistle Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

I ordered one of the alieexpress peltiers, took a couple of weeks to arrive and was about £32 all in, it seems to work , we'll just have to wait and see how long now , hopefully the OH will be happy as I only ever use the cooling but she likes the heater .

Ducting was fine and still soft and pliable , had car nearly 8 years now and only just got round to sorting seat heater (not a priority for me ), i'd had it apart a few years ago to check ducting when info was less readily available and peltiers were unavailable , thought for £30 rather than a few hundred it was worth a punt , just got to see how long it lasts for now , time will tell , back heats up a lot more than base so base one could probably do with changing too but i think they are a tad more awkward to get out .

just a quick update on this, AliExpress Peltier unit fitted - fairly easy swap out. Cost around £32 and works a treat!

Happy to assist if anyone is thinking about doing it and unsure.

Just stripped my drivers seat down & confirmed that the peltier is not working with only about 3 ohms of resistance. I too will get one ordered this week. I just have a small crack at the base of the ducting so will fix it with a little baking soda & super glue and the job will be a gooden.... 2010 RR Autobiography 5.0 SC

Update on my fix:
Less than a year later the Peltier element from Aliexpress broke down. I had ordered two of them so I put in the new one and lets see how long this one will last.

Anyone knows if the Peltier element from Ukraine is any better than Chinese one?
I read that it is from a company called Klifex in Kiev but I am not sure if it was really manufactured in Ukraine or they are just resellers of the chinese ones Smile 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
