Replaced the heater control valve. Thought I had fixed the old one before summer but nay...cold feet on the first motorway run of the autumn.
30 minute job if you don't drop one of the plastic nuts holding the unit on!! Embarassed Old one had seized again.
Also checked the blend wheel and cable,

May have popped out of it's holder when I removed the panel.

You can see where someone has been here before and trapped some of the wires across the vent.

In any case re-secured cable and put it all back together, securing the loose wiring first.

Right result - warm feet. 2007 3.6 TDV8

Bought 2 wheel bearings, 2 Front suspension arm kits and 2 wheel sensors, spent some considerable time and effort changing the bits, even bought an impact wrench to speed things up, painted all bits, all works fine now and looking at the old suspension arms it was about time that it was done.
Pleased with my effort. Smile

A nice 5 tonne SWL German bottle jack; my Sprinter Jack was leaking and it was cheaper to buy a new jack than get the old one repaired. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ L322 TDV8 4.4 - current

Ireland 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Today I did my first top engine oil change and I will never look back. I couldnt find the draper everyone else uses so had to buy the Draper 81315 and technically use it wrong but it did the job, sucked out all the oil and no mess, love it.

Then topped up with Liqui Moly Top Tec 4500, 2 x new bosch air filters and then attacked the deployable steps.

Last job was to AKRA the underneath as previous owner had the oil cooler/O Rings leak and just left it so underneath including the auto box area was covered in oil.

Also got the Bluetooth car kit working with I am chuffed about as they love to hand out penatly points in Ireland. All in all a good day with the Westminster all while my disco 3 looked at me in disgust.

Oh final Mod if you can call it that was to rip off the plastic number plates and replace with stamped metal. They make a car look far younger and would highly recommend. Now its time for some Bushmills Smile Current yokes

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

New 20 tonne bottle jack, don't trust the scissor jack and my old bottle jack leaking now. Took a bit of fettling to cut back the tapered right hand boot cubby to accomodate the wider base.

New dashcam turned up, fed up with the Motorola one having a mind of it's own, my old Nextbase 402g relogated to be rear facing, the front now a natty little 4K Muvi KZ-2 Pro, smaller and much, much better quality. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster
