One new thing about the new Invery my smart wifey & daughter found out was that as we all have iPhones they can remotely control my Spotify from their phones.

Really annoying some times as they can simply over-rule my music choice and I can't counter that as I can't be messing with the phone while driving.

I don't recall this on the old Invery, or maybe it was there but we didn't notice, but a sad day in the Roo household.

Decent rubber floor mats that fit up under the pedals on the L405, via those helpful folks at Duckworth LR.

GAP iiD Tool

For my “new” GAP iiD tool, rather than keep it in its bulky box in the glove compartment, I got one of these, and it fits like an, er, glove: Embarassed Laughing

Ordered a £40 android auto screen to try out, one of the ones from AliExpress that sits by the top vents. Hopefully its a better Bluetooth connection to the Invery adapter that my phone so the audio will be a step up as well as providing decent navigation.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

A new battery, ordered on Friday delivered and fitted by Halfords early this morning all for less than £150.

Great value I thought its a Yuasa 100amp with a 5 year guarantee.

The old one was a budget brand which would have been 5 years old next month so did much better than expected.

Just received the same wireless CarPlay adaptor as Buzz has bought.

Decent price from an Amazon Black Friday deal. Works great too. Not laggy at all.

A new throttle body gasket!

Why am I posting something so insignificant?

I need to replace both camshaft position sensors, the RH one needs the throttle body removing. I also want to do a supercharger oil change so this post should incentivise me to get on with it!!!! Very Happy Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

Passed the MOT, just a couple of advisories that I will sort in summer, for whatever reason the battery in the key fob was changed by some gorilla, the key was loose and the plastic bit that pulls the battery out has broken.. Why do people mess around with things they don't understand

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Big Boy battery bought & fitted, EK1060 Exide 020 AGM 106Ah, Tayna have them on offer, £169 inc delivery.

Needed a little fettling to get to fit, i.e Dremmel off the side extentions at the bottom, still a very snug fit and a lot of jiggling to get it in and the +ve terminal on due to the lack of space.

LR used a battery tray with edge folds that limits horizontal space and is narrower than the battery bay, but as that's not practical to remove & modify, battery side feet easier to trim,

Added bonus, now my "Manual Heat" works, never has done before, let's see how the FBH does in the morning, but today watched 40 minutes of TV waiting outside school with no low power warning, so looks like a result.

A.
