It's now been three weeks (tomorrow) since I picked the car up. Been using it non-stop in the last week, so all my tinkering was in the first 2 weeks...

Replaced the heater control valve. Thought I had fixed the old one before summer but nay...cold feet on the first motorway run of the autumn.

Bought 2 wheel bearings, 2 Front suspension arm kits and 2 wheel sensors, spent some considerable time and effort changing the bits, even bought an impact wrench to speed things up, painted all bits, all works fine now and looking at the old suspension arms it was about time that it was done.

A nice 5 tonne SWL German bottle jack; my Sprinter Jack was leaking and it was cheaper to buy a new jack than get the old one repaired. ๐ฃ L322 TDV8 4.4 - current

Today I did my first top engine oil change and I will never look back. I couldnt find the draper everyone else uses so had to buy the Draper 81315 and technically use it wrong but it did the job, sucked out all the oil and no mess, love it.

New 20 tonne bottle jack, don't trust the scissor jack and my old bottle jack leaking now. Took a bit of fettling to cut back the tapered right hand boot cubby to accomodate the wider base.
