Not a solution but it may help - put a relay in the power feed to the ECU so it's like pulling the fuse every time you turn off the ignition. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Pulling the power from on the module doesn't make much difference on mine so not likely to help unfortunately.

It does sound similar doesn't it Pete, he's got 2/3 of my symptoms and the OP of that thread also has hard ride issues on a D4.

Did you try lowering the tyre pressures to see what difference it makes? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Low profile tyres are a compromise between handling and comfort. Tyre compliance is the main impact absorber for road imperfections IME either in tyre pressure or sidewall stiffness. Landymansam has all terrain tyres which are also high sidewall stiffness for different reasons to low profile road tyres. I can tell a difference in ride quality on mine by just a 10% increase in tyre pressure so and dropping a sidewall ratio from 20 -21 is likley to have far greater loss of compliance than this. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Okay I think I'm understanding your logic now... your suggesting I drop the tyre pressures to 25psi as a test to imitate the difference I might see fitting 20 inch with 55 profiles?

I agree its an easy test but as Mariana states it should be just fine with factory pressure also he has new tyres so i,m sure this won't solve anything.

I feel it should ride almost as well as my original 2009 RR given the tyre sidewall profile on it is only 3mm less than my 2009.

Is it worth putting the suspension into tight tolerance mode and then back to normal via IID or: -
