We usually sell the kits for £140 (this is due to increase shortly).

I have this problem with my L322 Westminster, both driver and passenger side. I have just bought the GAP IID tool so I can check seat temps with the live data function and determine if it’s just the back or the base units too, hopefully.

I wanted everyone to know I ordered a peltier cell from Ebay too. My passenger side seat heater was throwing the Fault code(s): B1231-7A and B122F-98.

I too can confirm that the eBay one from Ukraine works and is the right size. Undid the four screws and tie wrap and removed the ducting (none of mine were damaged in any way, guessing they had previously been changed in the last 12 years) marked the wires and reconnected new peltier wires and everything works! I only had rear heating when selecting rear and ‘fault’ when selecting both. Rear was dated 2017 on plastic so not original. I was dubious this was at fault but replaced it with one from Ukraine in case the RR was just doing its weird science stuff but it tested ok and worked prior and symptoms were the same. Whipped out the front seat base bolts, tipped it back and removed four bolts holding a plastic cover in and that fell forward enough to access the four little screws. Snipped the old one out and replaced with the working peltier unit one from the rear and all works as it should. Only plug I removed under seat was the one for the peltier so job was done in under 2 hours all in for both.

Hi All, great stuff, thank you all. I just fixed my broken duct in drivers seat with hot glue, seems to be working fine now. I measured the resistance in peltier element and matches the values to the ones from this YouTube video:
