Hi Conor, long time no speak! I reckon mine is averaging 11mpg or 50p a mile in fuel at the moment so it’s definitely a car you’ve got to want to drive

Car sat overnight and this morning fired into life instantly at the flick of the key. Looks like that has indeed been the cure and not the non return valve on the fuel pump.

As of Friday evening the RR has covered 400 miles with the new sensors, and the fuel return sorted.

Since changing the MAF, both oxygen sensors, sorting the vacuum leak and the fuel return issue, we're now 1000 miles in.

As I understand it there are 4 oxygen sensors, did you do both fronts? Both rears? Or All 4? 2005 E60 M5

That's my understanding as well, however i changed the post cat sensors as well because they age and I kept getting cat failure messages from one of them.

Thanks David, I still an issue on mine but I wonder if actually its the front sensor that is causing the issue. Beyond me though, it'll have to be a job for the garage. 2005 E60 M5 2006 L322 4.2 SC 2020 Tesla Model S Long Range -------- 2004 L322 4.4 Vogue, 2019 NP300 Navara, 2016 NP300 Navara, 2002 L322 4.4 HSE, 2006 (MY07) L322 S/C ,2001 330Ci Sport Track Car, 2005 650i Coupe, 2001 P38 Vogue, 2003 530i Sport Touring, 1999 P38 4.6 HSE, 2002 E39 M5, 1995 300zx TT Slicktop, 1997 M3 Evo, 1992 300zx TT Targa, 1998 323i Coupe |
