Copper slip is not recommended to be used on any alloy, add another metal to the alloy wipers and water and you will get galvanic corrosion Same reason you don't use it on alloy brake callipers... ![]() I now have permission from the boss to use Y.O.L.O. Ah OK thanks, mine's a facelift and looks like a single casting ie no other piece. You can really see the galvanic corrosion in the 2nd pic

Can't speak for earlier incarnations (TD6), but I can confirm that all TDV8's share the same arms. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom ![]() |

I have managed to source a pair from ebay. I'll see how they are when they arrive but as a minimum I will have a new plastic aero part which is the bit that is broken on my current arm
