You'll have to re use the top washer on the drop links if new ones weren't supplied, they need to be there and are a hardened steel for wear |

The washer should be put back on. Also it doesn’t go on the “obvious” side behind the nut but behind the drop link. If that makes sense. On the thread before the drop link is pushed on.

I bought a Ryobi R18IW3-0 18V ONE+ mainly for getting the wheels on and off which it does very well ( final tightening with a torque wrench) but have used it on other bolts. If I was buying again I'd get one with a shorter body to make sure I could get behind things. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

... so when changing these stabiliser rods out, you typically have the wheel off and the hub is hanging... so there is tension on the anti roll bar, and the stud at either end is angled, with nut removed.and if tapped out, wont go back in with the new one. so you have to use and axle stand. (your first one is under the subframe for safety,) so lower that, and use a second on the brake disc spacer, between the bolt holes and disc face.. to allow the car to settle, lowering a little bit at a time, then the bolt will be dead straight, and fall out. then swap out, knowing you have safety with other axle stand set much lower under the car. (or the wheel pushed under) as your 2nd stand on the disc spacer is not ideal to be gettig your head under the car/wheelarch...and refit new stabiliser, then rejack car. remove etc.
