MAP Sensor A

Good morning everyone, so pulling onto the motorway yesterday from the services up an incline, light throttle load, not trying to make the RR drop to a lower gear or anything and all of a sudden i get the dreaded "bing" restricted performance loss of power ect. Pull onto hard shoulder, turn everything off. leave for a minute or so turn on and drive away happily for the rest of the day.
Get to my destination put my reader on it and it says MAP Sensor A boost sensor correlation. Now its done this a couple of times over the time ive had it, and it did it once or twice on the previous owner (a friend). So first time i cleaned the sensor with brake cleaner, and when it did it last time i swapped the sensors over to see if it would come up as sensor B...But no its come back up with sensor A again Rolling Eyes
So can anyone give me some pointers as to where to look too next?

Check the right top intercooler hose for a split.

Thanks GraemeS, not wishing to appear stupid but.....
Top right looking from the bumper or from the steering wheel?
If I find a split is it worth buying a silicon tube over rubber given the age and milage of the RR?

As GraemeS says check intercooler hoses. here is my recent fail and new hose fitted. After I sorted the right side the left one split a week after. You can successfully make a good temporary repair with self-amalgamating hose tape. If you look at my 4th photo, in front of the new hose engine side jubilee clip there is an electrical plug, that is the map sensor. It can easily be removed and cleaned with throttle body cleaner, they can get covered in crud

A HIGH pressure smoke test will examine all your joints, including inlet manifolds which are known to crack. You can't see them by eye.
