A much better alternative is to use a 12v charger for these batteries.

Im charging big packs and lots of them so have quite a bit more powerful chargers than the above, one boat runs 14s2p usually for 3 mins run time. so 14s 10,000mah... I have one on 12s2p (16,000mah) my charging setup is designed around a 240v input... |

This makes a lot of sense - i bought a L405 2 months ago now and haven't seen it.. Still bobbing around offshore. |

Now i know the battery is in the back, very easy install, it will just be a temp thing so it will be case of running two cables and leaving it loose in the back. |

thats the auxiliary battery that is shown in Alistairs pic...you may have one or you may have a capacitor..

As Stan says, the main battery is under the compressor, under the spare wheel - I've got an Andersen connecter permanently wired to mine in case I need to connect it to anything.

And if your car does NOT have rear AC & heating then the LHS cubby will be empty |

I believe it has rear AC & heating, its a 2015 AB but again - i sent my farther to test drive & buy it as im overseas.
