Totally agree. Has anyone heard of the 2 leg method? Sit on your arse and put a leg either side of the wheel and then use a long pry bar to lever it up into place. Takes seconds. Make sure you have axle stands etc etc. Safety first Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory" 2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many, many other Landies over the years My preferred specialist: www.glenrands.co.uk -------------------------------------------------- |

It’s why I have RAC membership for wheel changing when out and about. At home I just use a spade under the wheel. Geoff |

My Mercedes SL , E Class and C class have them as standard in the cars tool kit . In the 80's my W123 Mercedes had it as standard as well - all in aluminium . |

I reckon thats a job for the new Mistress to see if she will stay the course! One of those Russian ones we get around Norfolk these days, picks the car up with one hand, and puts the wheel on with the other. |

I’ve used them (two guides, one shorter than the other) that I bought years ago on a Disco3 forum group buy. I find them very useful. |
