2008 range rover - radio system problem

Hi all, just just wondering if anyone could help me, I'm experiencing a problem with my media system on my car, here is what's happening.

On my audio screen which has the touch screen buttons for radio, cd, aux and TV it is stuck on radio, the radio is working but all the preset buttons don't work, to change channel you have to manually enter the station.

The cd, aux and tv functions don't seem to work at all, I've been into the onboard diagnostics to check the video input and they seem to be working when testing but once I go back to the main audio screen I can still not choose different options.
The sat nav seems to work fine, I have disconnected the Bluetooth and put a loop in this as this was not working, I've replaced the TV tuner but still nothing, can anyone help in anyway at all.

I would be grateful, thanks all

Could anyone help with this in anyway?

It's so frustrating, I am hoping that someone has experienced this in the past and found a solution.

Thanks all

I've had the same problem for 2 years.

I don't believe that anyone anywhere knows of a solution.

Rich,

Did you not manage to sort it then? It's so frustrating.

Nope;
Removed the BT module, changed the Logig7 amp, rebuilt the MOST cable loop.
Tried every combination of the components that is possible.
Removed and replaced all fuses front and rear and the 4 relays in the rear panel.

and still have the same problems that you describe.

On starting the car I have to do the press 5 seconds on the screen routine and then enter the code 134679 code and then the MOST Test and Reboot MOST Loop for the trip meter etc.

But still the thing remains stuck on Radio with no CD etc and only the volume controls on the steering wheel work

It really is a useless system (note politeness!)

It sounds very like you have moisture ingress at the rear left wheel arch which is affecting the electonic controls housed in the back left side of the boot. I had intermittent issues with radio and sat-nav for several years before opting to replace the head unit, which didn't sort the problem. The culprit turned-out to be the amplifier in the boot cavity. This was a symptom of a bigger issue which has now become visible corrosion at the rear of the wheel arch. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile
