Get the gearbox oil change done as well, unless its just been done, I wouldn't reset adaptations it may lead to issues. |

Hey dingg the gearbox was repaired at midland gearbox specialists in October last year by the previous owner at the cost of £2600 so I would imagine the oil was changed back then. The gearbox is as smooth as it should be so thought I would leave it as it's not broke don't fix it type of thing. Unless another change won't do it any harm? What do you think? |

Well that lasted less than 24 hours, bong and restricted performance came back on. So my next thought, drivers side inlet manifold. Sprayed window cleaner all over it and low and behold it's foaming like a rabid dog all along the inner lip for about 4 inches.

I replaced mine myself and the manifold was about £350 for the part. I spoke to an indie and they quoted 8 hours labour which came to about £600 if I remember correctly. Not sure it would take 8 hours though if someone knows what they are doing. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

Click on profile, then scroll down to My Range Rover profile and fill it in, you then get a little Range Rover in your side bar, hover over it and it lets us know what model you have.. Pete

Thought it would be wallet lightningly expensive kbald. I just don't have the time or experience to change it myself so gonna just have to bite the bullet.

Eventually picked the car up from the Indy this morning, it drives totally amazing since the new intake manifold has been replaced. Must have been like that for a fair while me thinks. Next job, front and rear subframe bushes and steering rack. Is it an easy job changing the subframe bushes? |
