Easy to run it under the driver footwell trim. I broke one hinged OBD cover when it was hanging down and replaced it (I think it was more than £100!), so now I tuck it up out the way using blu-tac. It can't be seen.

I routed mine round and its completely hidden. Cable tied it and the IID to a round bar on the front of the seat frame. Used a small cork pad to mark the ON side so I can do everything by touch.

I also cable tied the OBD door flap open via one of the vents in the kick panel Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Removed mine. It was not letting the iid read all the ecus for some reason. Back to manual insert mode Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Dr Rob - same here, removed mine. I suspect some of the cheaper extension leads do not connect to all the pins (also an issue with some scart extension leads). 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue
