I bought 5 litres of genuine coolant, STC 50530, from my local indy for £18 + vat. Just been looking on the net and I recon they have only charged me for 1 litre. Others are selling 5 litres for about £60+. Thought it was a bit cheap. |

Well today is not a good day. this being my first post after using this excellent forum to solve the underseat heating problem and then the hedgehog problem and then replacing the main blower. I was going to wait for it to be a bit warmer and dryer to solve my oil leak problem. on my way home from work this morning sudden rattling and flapping with lots of warnings stopped car had a look to find auxiliary belt shredded and wrapped around fan so so far using this forum I have come to the point of do I need to remove the turbo actuator to remove the fan cowling? as that is the only thing I can see stopping me |

I had the same issue a couple of months ago heard a flapping noise and steering went heavy I found bits of shredded belt wrapped around everything, typically I was on holiday and had to do mine outside our caravan on a holiday park with just some basic tools not a fun job at all especially getting that little belt on, I did mine without removing the fan cowl which was a struggle but I managed it. Luckily I keep a gap iid in the glovebox to clear all the warnings after (I had the same as you) but they never returned after clearing L322 4.4 TDV8 Current

Yep also got the gap iid tool, cleared the faults there were loads from no power to faulty suspension the only one that comes on now is the egr temp sensor, which was the only one before the belt shred. when I drive 100mtr the restricted performance comes back on but no additional codes, so I'm hoping its one of my connections |
