Normal height only error message

Heya all!

The other day, driving my 2011 TVD8 4.4, got a message while driving: tire pressure sensor fault, or something like that.
Parked, shut down car then motor on again: no more message.
A couple days later, a message "Normal height only" appeared after i raised the car from subterranean parking. I renders suspension inactive to normal position.
It appeared that i could settle the problem by stopping engine then turning it on again, which cleaned the error. But usually it reappers fast or sometimes...never.....
I dont think its a compressor problem since i raise and lower the car, usually to park it in parking.
I think its a gremlin or a sensor problem.
I'm gonna make a check at the dealer soon.
What do you think the origin of this problem is?
Thanks a lot

Fatzo

My L322 gave this message when the compressor was u/s, it seems to get triggered if the compressor runs for a long time to maintain / build up pressure. Try drilling out the filter as described elsewhere on here. BMW i3 Electric Car

Hey guys, some news
The Range Rover dealer did check the car: the compressor is faulty.
Does any of you get the refs of a genuine compressor?
Dealer is asking 1.100€ to change it

Thx a lot

Compressor is repairable on later cars, there are filter kits and seal kits to replace worn parts usually around £60 just search the internet
Videos on you tube take you through fix
Mine gave the message after standing for a while and I took apart air dryer part and cleaned filters as they were black where holes in metal plates are.
Now no problems but might overhaul mine anyway as we are in lock down and my 322 is SORNed

As far as I was aware drilling filter will help lowering not raising suspension as this is how air is released

I bought a repair kit for mine, went to fit it and found the conrod had snapped and the conrod/piston were in about 6 pieces. Ended up replacing the whole unit. Easily done (4 bolts holding it down, couple of connectors)
