thats weird...the 2013 to 2015 had aux batterys and from then i thought they went with the capacitor setup like mine....

if you have a main battery in the floor well by the compressor then you then have an aux battery [as in your pic]
you can just disconnect the earth terminal and isolate it , ie wrap it in tape... ... - .- -.

2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Carpathian Grey

I know this thread is about getting stop/start not working but I want mine to work and it won’t.

I know you guys don’t like it, but I’ve only just bought the 13 month old car and I want everything to work.

The dealer said it was the main battery and they’d charged it. I didn’t buy their explanation so I checked the Aux battery when I got home and it says 0% charge and 7.2v so it’s either
a) fooked
B) not charging

How can I tell if it’s receiving a charge ?? Wot's that in old money

It will be battery related!

Remove the batteries and bench charge them! Then refit them and check voltages whilst running... Thumbs Up

Yep got that it’s battery related

The main battery is 98% charged and 13.8v so I’m happy with that.

The Aux battery after 2 hrs of charge is 10% charged and 10.2v. That’s just not right.

I don’t want to fix it, it’s under warranty, I just want to tell the dealer that they’re talking sh*te and it’s the aux battery not the main one, rather than them blaming the main starting battery again. I’m evidence gathering, I guess. Wot's that in old money

Following on from this. Has anyone done a diag/iid tool scan after disconnected the aux battery?
We have customers L405 3.0 V6.
Fault codes

U0447-00 Invalid data received from gateway A
Also code for Aux battery.

DPF keeps getting full.
Vehicle conditions incorrect for regeneration.
Just eliminating that possibility from equitation.
