today i disconnected the signal plug/wire to the VQM and it all starts ok and the @ light goes off without me pressing it....

Do you have the location for that wire Stan ? Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

disconnecting the signal wire to the VQM seems to be working...no stop/start and as far as i can see ,no other quirks... ... - .- -.

Interesting. I just found out my auto/start button doe not work. Stays in on position all the time. I would always switch off when I get in car but forgot to the other day and was stopped and noticed by tachometer was at 1k. I didn't like the off feature anyway. |

It took me nearly a year to come to terms with the new car after the westminster. However I really appreciate the upgrade now. Despite the smaller fuel tank! Will wait for your further comment /time before yanking! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

i went and looked at mine to disable but it looked pretty firmly attached. how did you get it off? are there clips that need care? -- On my third Full Fat RR there's nothing like it. |

you might need a small flat end screwdriver to prise the plug off.. ... - .- -.
