The screen on our 2006MY TD6 is just displaying the Land Rover logo and the LED on the power button is flashing. Do I need to reset it? The battery did go flat a couple of weeks ago, so I am hoping this is the cause. Which fuse do I pull to power it off?

This can be caused by one of the modules on the MOST system going down, possibly due to water ingress. The Nokia blue tooth module is a favourite. If you can bypass the fibre optics on each module in turn you may find the culprit when the system springs back to life. RR History

Thanks. I will check for water ingress. It did do this once before and it came back to life again. As I say, this time it may be something to do with the battery going flat.

Can anyone tell me the part number for the BMW ULF Bluetooth unit that can be fitted to the MOST system on the L322?

I had some time to look at this again today.

I tried the reset and that didn't work. There wasn't any serious water ingress in the boot where the entertainment equipment is housed but I did fid a bit of corrosion on some of the pins in the Bluetooth module. Cleaned the connector with contact cleaner but still no luck.

I do have a hybrid tuner I could swap for the terrestrial unit that is in the car, to eliminate that being at fault. I tried connecting it some time ago and it worked fine but I haven't had time to make up brackets to mount it permanently yet.

I am going to try and find a later Bluetooth module to eliminate my one being at fault, rather than mess about with the fibre optic connectors.

It's very annoying that it has packed up now, as I had planned to get the DTV working and a new reversing camera fitted over the Christmas holiday.

Just unplug the fiberoptic cable to the bluetooth and connect a bypass connector they are £20 on ebay this does the job until you buy a new bluetooth module. Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 SVO Stying Pack

I am probably going to have to try the Bic biro method, as even a standard Bluetooth module seems to be about £100 + on e-bay. If that works then I don't mind replacing the module.

Had another look at this today.

I checked the 3 fuses behind the glovebox and they are all fine. I substituted the hybrid DTV box for the analogue one and that made no difference. So I thought I would try the biro method on the fibre optic cables to bypass the Nokia Bluetooth unit. I removed the blue clip but I couldn't get the fibre optic cables to pull out of the black connector. Am I missing something here? If they won't come out I can get a female bypass connector on e-bay for £7-00.

Also, what does the TMC unit do? That has fibre optic cables connected to it too.

£4 on eBay, look for Most fiber-optic bypass.
Mine took a while as it ships from China, sadly I've not established which ones causing it though.

Thanks, I did see those but £7-00 from a UK supplier and free delivery by Wednesday seemed a better option.

Tried again today and still couldn't get the fibre optic cables to come out of the black plug. However, I did notice that I have a red light at the incoming fibre on the Nokia unit but when I plug it back in, I do not have a red light at the incoming fibre on the TV tuner, which is next in the fibre optic loop.

Seems to be fairly conclusive that it is the Nokia unit at fault.
