Look in your owners manual and you will see the jacking point is exactly the same shape as the underside of the step hinge... That way you will know where to jack it sir... |

I have a 2.5 ton trolley jack. But if I jack up using that, where will I place the jack stands then?

It's the very lowest point that you jack from - dead easy with a trolley jack
There's a separate supplement for the deployable steps |

The lowest point is the one I marked in yellow. Is that it then? But that is plastic part of deployable side step..

Also, am I correct to say this is the point for jack stand or trolley jack as stated in the Workshop manual?

I'll see if a magnet sticks to it as when I touched it, knocked it, it didn't feel like metal.
