Just pull off the black plastic bung and attach the drain tube... right next to the oil filler cap.

Simply prise out the outlet bung ( with the suction tube in the top ) with a screwdriver and you will see it is moulded in the shape of a spout, so just put a tundish into your empty 5 litre containers and pour it in

Start with 8L and then top up as indicated on sensor using the tips in this thread. I had to take mine back to garage tonight to have excess dropped as it was reading overfilled after an oil change. We dropped 2 litres then topped up as indicated on the dash. About 1L to bring to a normal level. Will be double checking cold tomorrow morning

This morning I read it cold and it said to add 0.5L. When warm it was one notch above middle line. Added 0.3L and it’s gone up one notch. Check again tomorrow.

They are a bit pricey Rob, but , compared to MD prices for an oil service , it will soon pay dividends.

Where do folks get their oil from? Advanced do 5L Ravenol for £42. There is cheaper but seems reasonable to me plus I get free delivery via their local delivery van Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
