I was just wondering - when I set the cruise control, the car slows when approaching slower moving cars. Do the brake lights come on to warn following drivers that I’m slowing? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

ACC [adaptive cruise control] normally uses the engine and gears to slow down but it needs sudden de-acceleration then the brakes are used ... |

I’ve changed mine to the jag profile using the IID tool and it now stops the car completely. I did wonder if I was going to be hit from behind! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

As standard I don’t think the brake lights come on, as it’s only easing off the throttle.

I’ve never had that happen. Don’t use it much though. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
