My 2004 l322 is in bits on the drive as I'm in the process of fitting a witter tow bar. Unfortunately I have to use the existing chassis bolts, but they are not there. Anyone know the part number for these or alternatively the bolt dia and length. Looks like the job is not getting finished today!!! RR History

Thanks Weegie. Having had another look at them, there appears to be two different sized bolts. The front ones are fatter and the thread is on the surface, while the back ones look thinner with very deepset thread. The thread does look fine.

The ones I got were for the rearmost fitting. They were for a Westfalia bar. The forward ones may be different as you say. I see you have a request in to Dan. Hopefully he can help.

Thanks again. I have given up on the job for today so will see what Dan comes up with. It will be easier just to get the right bolts from LR and to hell with the cost I want t do it right being such a safety critical issue. RR History
