EAS Pump replacement time?.

Just had the "EAS inactive & Max 30 mph" warning come up with the height led going off.

It came back on & message disappeared, although the compressor was running for a while & when stopped the front lifted up to normal height.

Whilst checking for leaks (none found), I had the " system will raise once cooled" message appeared. It will raise & lower ok, but the compressor is getting hot. As I've replaced the air reservoir last year, I'm now assuming that I need to obtain a new Hitachi compressor.

I do have one query regarding the heights though, as currently sat in off road height & some heights vary, NSF 54 cm OSF 51 cm NSR 51 cm & OSR 48 cm (drive has a slight slope to it ). Should I be worried about this, or will it sort it self once a new compressor has been fitted?.

Thanks guys.

Beginning to think that the compressor is ok & the issue lies elsewhere.

Drove out today & compressor cut in & out as normal, raised & lowered fine.

However had the car raise back to normal height whilst stationary & had the the warning sign " waiting to raise". This is looking more like an air leak, although Unable to see or hear anything (Time for soapy water).

Also had a check of all the height sensors as I was under the rear end the other week, replacing the rear brake flexi pipes & thought that that would cause an issue (coincidental now this is happening).

Any other thoughts?. Sad

Well the answer is No!.
Everything was pointing to the NSF height sensor & Just before I replaced it, I lubricated all the height sensors joints with WD40.

Guess what it's all fine Very Happy
No warning messages or bongs, Compressor cuts in & out quickly, suspension works as it should, happy days Thumbs Up
