After a bank holiday Monday of rolling around on the floor swearing the short PCV hose is now firmly attached with 2 hose clamps.

I'd be inclined to remove the EGR blanks. The PCM expects to see a drop in MAF values when the EGR's open...

I am sure the EGRs can be ruled out of this Mikey as they are phsyically blanked and unable to recirculate into the intake as well as being mapped out in the cars software.

I had the check engine light on for an EGR issue, had them blanked and mapped out.

Quantum is a decent map. I and a few others on here have their map without issues so it probably isn"t your issue. I wasn't sure you knew the history of it which is why it was suggested.
