May be take off the bottom turbo/intercooler hose/s and see if there are signs of excess oil. There will be some oil particularly in driver side (assuming UK RHD car) as that’s the side where the crank case vent feeds into the turbo. But excess oil indicates seal failure. ______________________________

Ive had those off already and no excess oil. Shame I didnt know about the oil created by the crankcase breather as this would have saved me fitting a new turbo thinking it was failing.

The only other thing I can think to suggest is induction cleaner. I’ve used Revive but there are others.

The thing is, your error code is for bank A. The n/s turbo is the other side so has nothing to do with it. The problem is either the drivers side turbo, the variable vane linkage or motor on that turbo, a split or leaking hose or inlet manifold feeding that side, the MAP sensor which you have replaced, or a poor/ intermittent connection between the MAP sensor and the loom. Are you still getting the same error code(s)? Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8 |

If your turbo was damaged,by possibly over speeding due to the split hose, you’d be able to hear it whistling.

I also ran several tankfuls through with Miller Eco Power Diesel Max to help remove any carbon build up on the turbo. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8 |
