Many thanks guys for your advice hope the hols went well Mike. Stan those notes were invaluable, many thanks would have missed a couple of bolts (the one inside the fan cowling and lower o/s one in from corner)

Thought I could shortcut the bespoke fan pulley spanner with a well-placed breaker bar or pry bar but to no avail. Found out the hard way was being too smart for my own good, So have succumbed to its purchase & will look into knuckle replacement on the NHS!!

I made my own holding tool and use crescent wrench to undo the bolt, it is LH thread
