Permanently installed DEFA 5A charger. Gives you a small socket in the front to connect the mains.

CTEK MXS10 - tried all the rest including the MXS5 and the 10 is more than capable of doing the job on the TD6 |

My Ctek 5.0 works eventually but seems to struggle with the AGM battery. A full charge takes a long time whereas it can recover most other normal batteries overnight no matter how goosed they are. |

The DEFA socket is a bit sleeker.

Has anyone monitored the battery voltage on a 4.4 tdV8 AGM battery whilst it is on long term trickle charge? I connected my CTEK 5 on Friday lunch time and noted it was 12.4v before switching on the charger and then 12.8v after a few minutes.
