Oh no! Sorry to hear. There is a real lack of experience in the Garages when it comes to the infotainment system...especially software. |

Yes its back and apparently the previous updates never installed properly, this time they had to get JLR to dial in remotely to ensure that all the modules updated. So far I have noticed a slight improvement on speed of start up but only time will tell on the other issues. |

Mine went in to get the bonnet switch changed last week, and they updated the infotainment system.

I too had mine updated last week and agree it's much faster but the stealer wanted £250.00 for the Apple carplay function, did you have to pay for yours? |

Mines going in at the end of Jan for a service with a request for the carplay upgrade. My Incontrol Apps crash continuously and won't stay connected to my phone. So carplay is the answer. I've seen it on one of the guys cars here and it is far more robust than the Incontrol Apps. No battle yet but fully expect one tbh. I'll cross that hurdle when I come to it. I may be pleasantly surprised. |

Had the update including car play done on mine a few weeks ago whilst in for a service. There was no charge for the upgrade. |
