Free for me too.

The only flaw I have found in 18C is that Apple carplay won't work after you've carried out a remote start with the app to warm the car up in the morning. The only way I could get carplay to work again was to shut the car down for 10-15 mins to reset. So there is clearly a glitch between car play and the remote start software..

Have you complained about this issue?

yes, I have. It is being looked in to.

I'm enjoying the rest of 18C so it isn't spoiling the experience much. But I do like starting the car from the inside at this time of year!

What about using the FBH instead? I guess that's not an issue as the software for the start up is completely different to the signal from the remote.

I didn't select the FBH option when I spec'd my car but I would imagine this would not bother apple carplay

My service advisor chappie was told they get charged by LR so have to pass on this to the customer. I normally rate this guy for honesty and integrity but I think he's spewing this time
I'll go back and whinge, maybe threaten to reject the car or I'll just stamp my feet. Just tried Carplay in my wife's Golf and it's something I'd like but it ain't £250.00 nice!

I got exactly that problem this morning Jase, thought it was the phone but did exactly the same!!

Once I got to where i was going and switched the car off, when I started the car again it all worked!

As you say, must be a small glitch in the software. Can you let us know what they say when they come back to you about it please? All LR cars from 1984

Its a strange one chalky. i guess the next update will sort.

Switching on and off fixes everything.... Just ask British Airways, the exasperated engineer did just that and it cost
£76 million.  Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Coincidence...... the dealer who did the update phoned me just after I posted about another matter and so i asked them about the Remote heat problem and Apple CarPlay and they are getting back to me as well! All LR cars from 1984

excellent. Means LR will be getting some feedback to create a patch.

Hope they do it soon. Pretty cold out there and I like the remote heat feature!
