I'll see if I can get the info out of mine for comparison.

[Edit: Just checked - pretty much the same as yours, even down to the clutch life left at 70%! My torque limit is given in lb/f at 1874 which converts to 2.54kN - pretty much the same.

As far as I can tell there isn't anything wrong with your data there.]

Thanks for going to that effort
If no one else has any input , I reckon an oil change is in order to see if that sorts it out
Wonder if ctc has seen this before?
Any input welcome
Thanks again

Has your car got the electronic diff lock?If it has can be that the difflock needs a cleanout. 2012 TDV8 Vogue SE 4.4

No not oil change!
The e-actuator that sits on top of the diff can get contaminated with mud or water. It must be removed(not a nice job on a D3) and cleaned out.No rocket science just difficult to get to.All D3/4,Sport and FFRR here in RSA has them standard and your problem sounds familiar!!The slip is in the actuator. 2012 TDV8 Vogue SE 4.4

well I have changed the rear diff oil (quite emusified) and transfer box oil (very clean) and now need a 14mm allen key to do the front diff

the slipping component code p0894 has not came back up

BUT I now have P186 A 00

which is diff lock up actuator brake open circuit , so looks like I need to get under again and check any connections I may have disturbed

(once my back sorts itself out I'm getting too old for scrabbling about underneath cars Rolling Eyes )

After unplugging and plugging back in the connector to the motor on the rear diff and giving the housing a few taps with a hammer , the situation remains , open circuit to motor brake , so without a pit or lift it looks impossible to sort out as it looks too tight to get the assembly out , a job for another time me thinks or it could just end up being an open diff for a while yet Rolling Eyes

Got to say after the gearbox oil has been changed and new filter and plastic pan fitted theres a definite improvement to the slickness of changes up and down the box.
Suspect its the first time its been done at 84k

I had this problem last year and it was the actuator motor failure, do you gat a cascade of failures coming up on you IID tool?
Stuff like Terrain Response failure and traction control failure from the missing signal from the rear diff. 2008 MY Supercharged
