I would try the oil change 1st just got to 73000 on mine all going well in that area . just sitting a bit wonky of late but seems to have sorted its self out for now ............................ |

well I have changed the rear diff oil (quite emusified) and transfer box oil (very clean) and now need a 14mm allen key to do the front diff

After unplugging and plugging back in the connector to the motor on the rear diff and giving the housing a few taps with a hammer , the situation remains , open circuit to motor brake , so without a pit or lift it looks impossible to sort out as it looks too tight to get the assembly out , a job for another time me thinks or it could just end up being an open diff for a while yet |

Got to say after the gearbox oil has been changed and new filter and plastic pan fitted theres a definite improvement to the slickness of changes up and down the box.

I had this problem last year and it was the actuator motor failure, do you gat a cascade of failures coming up on you IID tool?
