I'd say prices for diesels are dropping. For example 2011 4.4TDV8's are now plentiful not just under 20k which was a real shoulder point last (I'm still getting alerts a year after buying mine) but now I'm seeing them £18995 and even £17995 etc. Seems more than natural depreciation. Makes the 4.4TDV8 an absolute bargain ! . Cheers, Greg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 with lots of toys in Stornaway |

Agreed, if it wasn't for living in London and all the diesel fuss here, I'd have snapped up a 4.4 TDV8, loads of them around for good prices now, and in a much wider range of colours than the Supercharged ones!

The Defender went privately tonight for full asking price and has been driven away, so after 9 years of ownership I'm car less until Thursday evening when I pick up the 5.0 S/C.

Well done on the sale of your Defender Paul, and congrats on your new purchase - that spec/colour combo is almost identical to mine and it does set the car off very nicely indeed.

Thanks Mark, very much looking forward to tomorrow night now! I'll keep researching leather cleaning on here, but the few problem areas looked fairly superficial, so I'm hoping they will clean right up, and we will definitely be careful with getting in to try and protect them in the future.

Hope it's the first of many. Enjoy - I'm sure you will. What do I put here then? |
