England 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

Took all the existing wheel nuts off and replaced them with LOVELY stainless nuts from Wrington Engineering. Expensive, but worth it; they are beautifully made. One of the old nuts was a Censored to remove - the cap just spun round, so in the end I chiselled it off, then hammered an old socket on to the nut underneath the cover. That worked!

I also fitted my private reg. number plates to the car. Next job is to change the wheels for some nearly-new wheels from a 2017 L405 (style 502's). I've decided I don't really like the style 17's (20 inch Westminster wheels) on the car at the moment. Then I'll post up some pictures.

The car itself is running nicely and is a credit to its former owner.

Mike.

Left it at home while I dashed up to Norfolk to pick up my daughter who broke her collar bone. 440 mile round trip and couldn't trust the FF to make it without a hissy fit. Took the ancient Astra instead - fraction of the fuel cost with double the discomfort

Ah, I stand corrected Thumbs Up
Front wheel driver's side - don't worry it was quite satisfying to work out how to remove the pesky thing. Not convinced those nuts are JLR's finest design moment! The other 19 came off OK so it's all good.
Mike.

Cheers Nothernmonkeyjones!

No, it is a complete kit, leather prep to remove the original finish, then you respray the seats with a new coat and then seal it and finish it with a matte finish. I went semi-matt this time as I didn't do the rear and thought it would match better than very matte.
