Well, I tried pulling the fuse and re-fitting it, but it's made no difference. I even switched on the ignition just in case, but to no avail. Looks like the motor is u/s Sad 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I've the same problem at the minute. Wiper stuck vertically instead of horizontally. Mad It happened over Christmas when the weather was -7 so I kina thought it had froze and maybe burnt out the motor or snapped some sort of cable.

If anybody has any other sugestions I'd appreciate hearing them (tried the fuse idea - no luck Sad )

BTW I've just read that you should really leave the fuse out for a while, just trying that now. Going to give it ten minutes and stick the fuse back in.

Update .....

When I put the fuse back in after ten minutes not much happened. I think the wiper may have did one sweep (before it never moved) as the arc of the wiper on the light seemed to have been wiped (car not too dirty so hard to tell). Anyway that didn't solve the problem so I futtered about again trying different combinations of lights/ignition on/off, etc. and eventually heard a noise from the front of the car and hey presto, it was sorted.

I think what worked was lights and ignition on, fuse out, squirt washers 6 time (think headlights are every 5 or something) then fuse back in.

Worked for me, thanks for that post with the link regarding the fuse btw!

Strange how this works- you'd think with no power going to it, it wouldn't move! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

This problem keeps occuring to my car Evil or Very Mad It's easy enough fixed but getting annoying. Also the left hand fog light is playing up, but all I have to do to fix that is take out the bulb and put it back in again. Getting quite annoying, Anybody and idea if there could be any likley electrical gremlins that would cause problems to the front left of my car!

A bit of necromancing but stebo's fix worked for me today. Washers still not delivering but wipers came back to life!
