you've obviously never jacked up a ffrr....cos they go on and on and on... and just when you think it'll never lift the wheel off the ground it finally does.. And for all you ffrr jacking virgins take our word for it rather than put it to the test... jacking up a ffrr with either a 2 stage bottle jack or the factory jack is not something that should be done for fun, only in an emergency, and as a last resort Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... That's not the safest option, it only takes the suspension to have one of it's little paddies and it'll pop off the jack.... if you use a high lift (2 stage ) bottle jack in the jacking positions on the sill it is held in place... I'd only use my trolley jack to raise a ffrr at that point cos the cup is 100mm dia and it also has a rubber insert for added grip Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

dispense with blocks of wood, spacer etc and just get this and have plenty of lift.

How about this jack? Just keeping it in the truck won't harm the longevity of the jack?

NOPE!! it's a single stage lift, the Mercedes Sprinter jacks are telescopic 2 stage, which gives them almost twice the lift of a standard bottle jack. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Any reason why lifting from the suspension arm is not recommended?
