Well yesterday....

had a squeak coming from my from brakes for a while so...

changed pads on all four corners, cleaned, greased and lubed.
discovered uneven wear on the pads squeaking but now its all good.

no more squeak Thumbs Up

Spent a shed load more money on it Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

The MOT was not a pleasant experience as the most of the brake pipes are shot Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

In the first year of ownership I've nearly spent as much on maintenance as I spent to purchase the damn thing in the first place and it wasn't cheap as I held out and paid slightly over the odds for a good one ...... at least that's what I thought!

Having said that I still love & wouldn't swap it ....... how stupid is that! Shocked Shocked Shocked Current - RRV Autobiography 4.4V8 2005

Painted the rear backbox. Looked so tatty and really stood out when the car was clean.

Easy to fix though. 30 mins and £10 worth of Hammerite metal paint with a satin finish.

Half & half. Really shows you the difference in colour. Its fresh on here so looks glossy but dries satin..

Finsihed painting. Took one 400ml can.

From afar

Fully dried:

Had to take the fuel pump back out today after replacing it a fortnight ago as the fuel gauge was not reading full.

The float had dropped off the pump body.
