The Bosch S5 Battery seems to be pretty high spec. Would the cranking power be greater than the genuine battery though? |

Bosch S5 020 110ah or Varta S5 020 (610 200) - just fitted the Varta to my 06 TD6. From previous threads seems the Varta is what LR use as OE but looks identical to the Bosch (which is what it replaced on mine)

The Bosch and the Varta are exactly the same, made in the same factory - Bosch does not have its own battery factory 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car! |

Can you categorically affirm they are the same ? Do you work for one of the companies ? Being made in the same factory is not the same thing - there are many things made in the same factory, but with different components or to different specifications. |
