You could always make yourself some scaffold board ramps, these were for my transmission project.

Stacker, think I'd be looking at a replacement hub and drive shaft, or at least outer CV joint, doesn't look like you have much of the nut left at all....

Thanks for the pictures, I'll see if I can make something up and have another go on Sunday. I might look into getting a dremel as if I can get that in there I wouldn't need to take the brakes off at all, cut the head off the bolt then knock the crap out of the ball joint!

Like every job on the Ffat,it is hard work but one thing I have learned with age is spraying up before tackling a job ,either the day before or even better a few times even a week or two before,you will be amazed with the difference. |
