Please comment regarding how much different/ difficult it is to Jack up car for wheel changing now they are fitted.

Mine will jack up OK I think using the bottle jack rather than the scissor jack that nobody seems to like. Geoff |

Not tried yet but there is a supplied alan key for some purpose or other, i presume it is to move the steps out of the way so you can jack them up.

Kids are loving them! Especially my lad who keeps showing them off to his mates! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

For reference, the steps come off easily with the Allen key, there are 4 bolts on each step take these off and the step lifts off. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

As pointed out to me, there is a connector on the 2012 loom which doesn't show on some sets of instructions (2 small white plugs with yellowish wires) these link into the cars loom, it is detailed in the LR fitting instructions in the wiki for the AB, step 10. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

steps do indeed come off easy but sometimes when putting back on wont locate in the 'slots' easily.. ... - .- -.

They auto deploy when you open the door, and can be locked out with the extra button.

quite a cool edition then pal , no good for me thow as I forget and have them deploy when upto the sills in mud like last week lol |
