England 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Generally I use the SSD for the operating system and any frequently used programs and use the spinners for storage of data. ______________________________

Canada 2008 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Java Black

Well, in the Mac vs PC battle, work gave me a new MacBook Air this week. As it's about 10-12 years newer than the Mac I'd been using. I was impressed.

And then I took it home this weekend. Censored It won't go online because NO changes, even adding a new wifi, are allowed without an IT password. As for backing up files, no. Because it won't support USB sticks in NTFS, only the old FAT32. So, found an old, slow little fat32 to do the backup, then put the thing by the front door so I don't forget it on Monday.

On the plus side, it's very light and has a nice aluminium finish.

That was the sort of lines I was thinking along Thumbs Up

I haven't got optimisation software with the ssd, but I found a guide on how to configure win7 manually or once a year Wink

Then went into panic mode when I read that optimisation is unnecessary as long as TRIM is enabled... and then I had a massive fight with windows as it said I wasn't the administrator in the cmd line Banging Head got there in the end with a system32 prompt... and after all that it was already enabled Laughing Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
